| Homes of Historic
Significance
The Landmarks & Historic District Commission of the Borough of Roseland has begun the process of selecting homes of historic significance in the community to honor. This year marks the first time that the Commission is doing so, and it has selected six homes for special recognition. These homes are The Bond Force House, The Griffith House, The Steele-Condit House, The Conklin House,
The Harrison House and The Ford Gatehouse. Owners of the homes will be presented with plaques at a Special Recognition Ceremony at The Harrison House, 126 Eagle Rock Avenue, on October 18, 2003. The festivities will run from 1pm until 4pm, and the actual presentation ceremony itself will commence promptly at 2:30pm.
The Commission intends to select additional homes for this special honor in the coming years.
